About Three Daily Goals
About Three Daily Goals
Why I built it
I used to love task managers — until they started suffocating me.
Lists kept growing, and the more I added, the less I could face them.
I stopped using them altogether.
Three Daily Goals was born out of that frustration — and relief.
I wanted a tool that helps me let go of what no longer matters,
and focus my limited energy on what truly does.
The idea
Then I found someone describing how they keep tasks in a notebook — and simply tear out old pages when they no longer matter. That small act of release inspired 3DG’s graveyard:
tasks fade away if they’ve been untouched for 30 days.
Then I added J.D. Meier’s Rule of 3:
each day, pick just three meaningful wins. (Again, no stress. Make it 2 or make it 4, or 5!)
That’s it — no overload, no guilt. Just focus and flow.
The mindset
3DG isn’t about doing everything.
It’s about staying in motion — like a river, not a bucket.
If other task managers made you feel behind,
this one is for you.
